Hello all. I have a quick question I'm not sure about. I have dinner reservations at the Yak and Yeti in Dec at 4:30pm. Well Animal Kingdom closes at 5pm that day so will I be able to catch the bus still or will it take longer than an hour the park close

    Hi Chad,

Thanks for your question. The buses from Animal Kingdom to the resorts run for at least an hour after park closing and later if necessary. Disney transportation does its best to avoid stranding guests. We once had a late reservation at the Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom. When we were finished, though it was much more than an hour after park closing, a bus was still available for us. It stopped at several resorts to accommodate all us stragglers.

I would expect your dinner to take no more than an hour at Yak and Yeti. However, even if you are a bit more leisurely, you should have no issues finding a ride back to your resort.

I hope that eases your concerns. Please let me know if I can help in any other way as you make your final plans. Enjoy!
