Hi there, Roger, welcome back to planDisney. I’m so pleased you brought this question to the panel so that I can help make your Walt Disney World trip splashtastic!
My family are big fans of making a splash at
Disney Water Parks, and always make sure to explore
Blizzard Beach and
Typhoon Lagoon on our trips. Last year, my daughter conquered Summit Plummet for the first time, and can’t wait to go back and do it all over again!
The good news, Roger, is that both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach will be open during your trip in June, so you have plenty of options! Let's dive right into your question about
Polar Patios at Blizzard Beach and
Beachcomber Shacks at Typhoon Lagoon so that you can sit back and unwind in your very own outdoor sanctuary. As a party of two, you'll have plenty of space to relax together and cool off after so much fun in the sun!
You can book these
Enchanting Extras up to 60 days in advance through the
My Disney Experience App, or by
phoning to speak with a Cast Member. You can also check on the day at
Beach Haus at Blizzard Beach or at the podiums at the main entrance to Typhoon Lagoon. Bookings are subject to availability, so don't wait too long to make your reservation, Roger! I'll be wishing upon a star that you grab the reservation you've been dreaming of.
Pro Tip: There are some lovely spots for photos at Blizzard Beach, so you can hold on to all of the memories you are about to make. The Snowman Family statue near the park entrance is a great setting. My personal favourite is the Hidden Mickey Raft at the bottom of Teamboat Springs- it makes for a great photo backdrop.
Whether you're a thrill seeker or prefer the pace of
Cross Country Creek lazy river, there are attractions to suit everyone at Disney's Water Parks, Roger! I hope you have the most wonderful visit in June.
