Hi there! I have a quick question about the dining plan. If I am dining in a quick service at my resort and I have my refillable mug, what do I do with my drink credit? Could it be exchanged for an extra snack?

    Hi Katherine!

You have a great question about how to maximize the value of the Disney Dining Plan.  The Disney Dining Plan affords a lot of flexibility such as using your meal and snack credits in any order you like.  However substitutions such as an exchanging a snack for the drink that comes as part of your quick service meal isn't an option.  Nonetheless I have found that when dining at their Resort Hotel, most people enjoy using their Rapid Fill Resort mugs for their drink and then choose a bottled beverage to take with them.  There are many different bottled beverages to choose from and they are great way to save a little money by bringing the bottled beverage with you to the theme parks.  This is one of my favorite strategies to maximize the value of the Disney Dining Plan for my family.

Thank you for your question Katherine.  If you have any further questions about the Disney Dining Plan or another Disney vacation planning topic, please come back and ask it here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  We love to help!

    Blessings,
