Hi moms, quick question about ADR's...will I need to pay in advance for restaurants that I book which are not included in our Disney quick dine package, I know we can use our credits at BOG but I'd love to go to beaches and cream.

    Hi Selina,

You will find the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan to be a great value. Yes, you can use quick-service meal credits to pay for breakfast and lunch at Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom Park. However, you won't be able to apply quick-service dining credits toward meals requiring advanced dining reservations at table-service restaurants, such as Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. You may pay for those meals out-of-pocket using cash, Disney gift cards, debit or credit cards.

Booking advanced dining reservations at table-service restaurants will require a credit card. However, your credit card won't be charged for the meal before actually dining at the restaurant. That is, unless you either don’t show up for your reservation or cancel after 11:59 PM Eastern Time on the day before your arrival. In which case, you will be charged a nominal fee per diner. So in essence the credit card is needed as a place holder to maintain your reservation in place.

Disney Mom Tips: 1. Use the My Disney Experience Mobile app to book dining reservations 180 days in advance of your visit. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you can make dining reservations for up to ten days. 2. Take advantage of the order-ahead service at Be Our Guest Restaurant. When you are within 30 days of your reservation, you’ll see a link on the My Reservations page that takes you to an order form where you can select your entrees, sides, beverages and dessert.
