Hi moms, a quick one about The Boathouse Signature Table Service. Am I correct in thinking that when you buy a main, you have to order a main side to go with it, for example if you order steak or burger, do I have to pay for the fries to accompany it? :)

Hi, Lizzie! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for bringing us this great question!

I had the opportunity to dine at The BOATHOUSE and simply loved it! If you are able to, I highly recommend a tour in an Amphicar! If you are on the Disney Dining Plan, you will need 2 Table Service entitlements per person to dine here as, like you mentioned, it is a Signature Restaurant.

The answer to your question is: depends. If you take a look at the online menu, when you order a “main” entree, you are getting everything described online. For example, if I order a Classic Cheeseburger, in the description, it is written “ served with fresh Cut Fries”, meaning I do not have to order the fries separately. However, if I order the New York Strip, there is no mention of any side in the description, so if I wanted fries with it, I would have to order them and pay out of pocket (or separately if not on the Disney Dining Plan). Note, however, that they are “Sides to Share” so if you and a friend or family member are both getting steak and both want fries, only one order would suffice between the two of you. If you are on the regular Disney Dining Plan, it also comes with a non-alcoholic drink AND a dessert! Might I recommend the Key Lime Pie in a Mason Jar?

I really hope I am answering your question! Please feel free to come back again real soon!
