Hey there, Rebecca!
Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. When I visit the Disneyland Resort, food is always one of my top priorities! With so many amazing and delicious eats and treats, I definitely also plan some of my must-do meals before arriving.
The Disneyland Resort is very accommodating when it comes to a variety of
food allergies and special diets. When you view a restaurant's menu online, you can scroll down to a section that features allergy-friendly meals including Gluten-free and vegetarian options. When mobile ordering on the Disneyland app, you can click on a Quick Service restaurant and view an Allergy-Friendly menu as well. For example, on the
Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe menu online, you can scroll down to see that one of the most iconic Quick-Service meals (and one of my personal favorites) is gluten free and vegetarian: the iconic Jolly Holiday Combo which is a decadent grilled cheese sandwich, prepared with allergy-friendly bread, and tomato basil soup. In Disneyland Park you can also indulge in the famous Dole Whip dessert. In Adventureland, Bengal Barbecue also offers a grilled Outback Vegetable Skewer that is a great on-the-go snack.
In Disney California Adventure Park, I recommend a healthy yet satisfying tofu and vegetable rice bowl at Lucky Fortune Cookery or the inventive gluten-free BBQ Jackfruit Sandwich at Smokejumpers Grill. Keep in mind you can always double check with Cast Members at restaurants when ordering to ensure your allergy needs are met.
I hope this helps, and have a Fantasmic day!
