Hello, 2 questions: If I call Disney would they allow 4 adults/3 kids stay in a room for 6 adults? My group is 10 people. I would like to get a group rate, but can’t find information. The links don’t open. How can I find this information? Thanks Joyce

    Hello, Joyce! Welcome to planDisney!

It’s exciting to hear that you are planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort for your group, and even more exciting that you are interested in staying on property in one of the awesome Disney Resort Collection hotels.

Let’s start with your question about a group rate. I would suggest keeping your eye on the Special Offers, Deals & Discounts. For example, as of this post (and subject to change), there is an offer for up to 35% off Rooms at Select Disney Resort Hotels when you stay five nights or longer and an offer for Disney+ subscribers that allows guests to enjoy a free dining plan when purchasing a four-night/four-day package (room & tickets with Park Hopper option). To be eligible for a group rate at Walt Disney World, you must book 10 rooms or more, so these special offers, deals & discounts sound like your best bet!

When it comes to choosing your resort, you have some options. Family Suites that sleep up to 6 adults are available at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. This number can be any combination of adults and children, but it cannot exceed six unless the extra guest is an infant. But rest assured, you have other options that can accommodate your group. Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts have 2 and 3-bedroom villas that can better fit your family and include special perks like a fully equipped kitchen, separate living and sleeping areas, and a washer and dryer so you can pack light!

My family and I recently visited Walt Disney World and had dinner at our favorite restaurant, Sanaa, which is at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village, when we were finished, we toured the 2 Bedroom Villa – Savanna View. After our tour, we decided that the space and ability to enjoy our morning coffee overlooking the Savanna was something we needed to put on our bucket list. If this isn't your cup of tea, you have plenty of other Deluxe Villa options that may better suit your taste! The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is my all-time favorite since you can monorail or walk to the Magic Kingdom!

I hope this information answers your questions, Joyce. Please feel free to drop me another question if you need additional planning pointers for your upcoming visit!

    Thanks,
    Brent
