I have 2 questions, we want to visit epcot before checkin. Have DDP & want to use during thevisit? For Bday Celebration can I show pic of birth certificate instead of actual 1..don't want to lose/misplace @park.

    Hi Kenya!

You will have to check-in at your resort before heading off to Epcot in order to use your dining plan. Even if your room isn't ready you will still be able to get your Key to the World card which holds your room key, tickets and dining plan credits. The cast member at the check-in desk will give you a phone number to call later in the day to get your room number. You can check-in early in the morning if you wish and then head off to Epcot for some fun. The front desk will even hold any luggage for you!

As far as the birth certificate goes, the accepted forms are the original or a notarized copy. For more information on this click HERE. I recommend the notarized copy, for the reasons you mentioned. I would call your local courthouse to find a notary public in your area who can perform this service for you.

Have fun celebrating at Disney World!
