Hi Kristina, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Sounds like you’ve got places to go and things to do on your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation, so let’s get you on your way!
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is such a lovely place. With the wrought iron and beautiful courtyards, you'll feel like you’re in the Big Easy, right down to the delicious beignets! And it’s a pretty quick ride from your Resort hotel right to the entrance of the Magic Kingdom Park via
Walt Disney World Resort bus transportation. For the most part, Walt Disney World Resort buses don’t serve the Transportation and Ticket Center, which is mainly a transfer point for Guests who park their cars for a visit to the Magic Kingdom, or to
board the monorail to Epcot. If you do need to access the Transportation and Ticket Center, you can take a monorail or ferry from the Magic Kingdom entrance.
There is bus service available from the Theme Parks to
Disney Springs after 4 p.m., but it is one-way only. To get to Epcot from Disney Springs, you can take a boat back to your Resort hotel and then hop on a bus, or try the super-cute and convenient
Minnie Van service.
Kristina, I hope this helps you plan your travels around Walt Disney World. Please don’t hesitate to come see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
