Hi- questions about Star Wars guided tour at HS. I have read the tour is 7 hrs and you have to be there at 8am but the fireworks show at night is included. Is is 12 hours later? long does each part of the the tour last? Are you with a group or on your own?

Hello Lorraine! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am trying to put a focus on a Star Wars theme for my family's next Walt Disney World Resort vacation. As such, Disney's Hollywood Studios Theme Park and the Star Wars Guided Tour were integral to my plans.

As you know, the Star Wars Guided Tour now beings at 8am and runs for 7-hours. These 7 hours are chalk full of many of the various Star Wars attractions, character meetings and entertainment available at Disney's Hollywood Studios Theme Park.

Since the Star Wars Guided Tour ends well before the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Fireworks Show begins that night, it is not a part of the 7-hour experience directly. Other entertainment features included in the Star Wars Tour provide priority seating granted by Cast Members granting immediate access. As it stands now, Guests are provided priority seating for that evening's showing of Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular if the return for the show in the evening.

Based on initial feedback from the new starting time of 8am for the Star Wars Guided Tour, the 7-hour experience begins at 8am and runs until early afternoon with Guests able to return for Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular just before scheduled showtime.

Be sure to check with your Cast Member Tour Guides about the logistics of when and where you should meet to take advantage of that priority seating.

May the Force Be With You!
