Welcome to planDisney, Kimberly!
What a brilliant trip you have coming up! I'm sure you're going to have a wonderful time. You'll be able to enjoy
The World's Most Magical Celebration before it ends too.
You're going to adore staying at
Disney's Contemporary Resort. The rooms are INCREDIBLE! You can even walk to Magic Kingdom Park. But that's not all. This hotel has been around since Walt Disney World opened in 1971. You can't get more Walt Disney World than this hotel! There's also a monorail that runs THROUGH the hotel! After all these years, I still think that's impressive! And the dining at this resort is second-to-none. You can grab breakfast with Mickey and his pals at Chef Mickey's. You can enjoy a nostalgic and delicious meal at the fan-favorite, Steakhouse 71. You can even take in spectacular views of Seven Seas Lagoon and watch Disney Enchantment by reserving a table at California Grill.
You'll be pleased to know that you can easily have your luggage transferred to Disney's All-Star Music Resort. Simply stop by
Bell Services on your check-out day and let a Cast Member know that you'd like your luggage transferred. They'll then tag your bags, give you a ticket to claim them back, and transfer your luggage to your new hotel. However, just note that sometimes this can take a few hours.
As a fellow parent, I know the importance of ensuring a place for the little Mouseketeer to get some rest. My two kids don't share a bed particularly well, either. Kimberly, you can very easily request a complimentary crib at any Disney Resorts Collection hotel. There are two ways you can do this: 1) When you make your initial reservation, or 2) upon your arrival at
Disney's All-Star Music Resort. Although quantities are limited, I'm sure you'll have no trouble getting one. You'll most likely get a standard-sized Pack 'n Play, although there are a few larger cribs available (subject to availability).
I hope that's helpful, Kimberly. Have a fantastic time!
Mike
