    2 questions: Rise of the Resistance opens on 12/5 - 2 days before our arrival. Info please? Is it like Mission to Mars? I couldn't handle that!!! 2 - Hubby saw online someplace that there are 2 entrances to DHS? One on Grand Ave & Toy Story Land?

    Hi, Jeanie!  Or as they say on the planet Batuu, "Bright suns!"

    I am so excited to hear that you are planning your very own Star Wars adventure now that Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is welcoming guests at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  You have chosen the perfect time to travel to Batuu, since you will be arriving just a few short days after Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance opens.  So far, to avoid spoiling any surprises, Cast Members have been fairly tight-lipped when discussing Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.  However, from what we have heard, this promises to be a truly epic attraction, unlike anything we have ever experienced before.

    Based on what we do know about Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, guests experiencing this attraction will be recruited by the Resistance.  However, all will not go as planned for the new recruits when they are captured by Kylo Ren and the First Order.  This attraction will place you right in the middle of the action of a Star Wars film with full-size AT-AT walkers and a Star Destroyer hanger full of stormtroopers.  Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is listed as having some dark scenes and drops, but it will not be a simulator-style attraction like Mission: SPACE at Epcot.

    Disney's Hollywood Studios has two entrances to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.  One is located on Grand Avenue, and one can be accessed through Toy Story Land.  Please be advised that depending on crowd sizes, Cast Members may direct you to use a certain entrance or exit in order to control the flow of traffic.
