Hi there, Jill! Welcome to the planDisney panel, where my pals and I are always happy to see you sail our way. I'd love to answer your questions so you are shipshape and ready to cruise with Captain Minnie and Captain Mickey.
Here's what you can look forward to (including your suggested dress attire) when you set sail later this month:
- Port Canaveral - Night One - Cruise Casual
- Castaway Cay - Night Two - Optional Dress-Up
- Nassau - Night Three - Pirate or Cruise Casual - Pirate Night Themed Deck Party
- Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point - Night Four - Cruise Casual
- At Sea - Night Five - Cruise Casual
If you'd like to join in the fun of
Pirate Night, consider packing your buccaneer best to wear in the evening onboard. If your wardrobe is more scallywag than seadog, you can browse the shops onboard for Pirate-themed clothing and accessories.
You are welcome to bring a basketball on board (whether inflated or deflated), but it must be stored in your stateroom and used only off the ship. If your kids are interested in playing basketball on the ship, they'll find
Goofy's Sports Deck on Deck 13, aft, and basketballs available for their use during the sailing. Specific times when basketballs are available are listed near the court. My son says that the last time we sailed on the Fantasy, the basketball courts were closed near dinner time to avoid disturbing guests dining at Palo (located just one deck below).
If you are looking for a premium dining experience during your sailing, I highly recommend booking an adults-only reservation at
Palo. Whether you dine for brunch or dinner, the atmosphere is exquisite, the service is impeccable, and the menu is delectable. If you are interested in booking and don't see availability, you can inquire about reservations once on board.
If you have additional questions, please return to us again. We'll be here for you!
Bon Voyage,
Adrianna
