Hey there, Meredith, and welcome to planDisney! It’s great to have you stop by the panel with your questions! I can already tell that you know how to bring in the new year right; with a Walt Disney World Vacation! You’re setting the vacation bar high right out of the gate!
Meredith, when you book a Disney Vacation Package - inclusive of
Theme Park Tickets and a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel stay - you can apply payments to your remaining package balance over time. This Walt Disney World perk is too good to pass up! You can pay your remaining balance in your
My Disney Experience Account. After logging into your account, select the “My Plans” option, and there will be an option to “Make a Payment.” Select that option and complete the remaining steps to apply your payment. Each payment puts you one step closer to your Walt Disney World vacation! If you booked with a Travel Agent, you will have to contact your agent to apply the payment to your balance on your behalf.
Meredith, on my most recent visit to Walt Disney World I also noticed the limited selection of
MagicBands. While choosing my MagicBand through the My Disney Experience Account, I received an official notification from Walt Disney World stating that MagicBand availability is currently limited due to supply chain challenges. It looks like that pesky Stitch has gotten into the supply chain too! The great news is that availability is always changing, so I suggest checking back frequently to see if there are new bands available. When you book a Disney Vacation Package, you are able to purchase MagicBands at pre-arrival exclusive discount rates. Pre-arrival exclusive availability can be found in your My Disney Experience account as well. If you are unable to find a MagicBand that you like, Hakuna Matata - it means no worries! MagicBands are available at physical retail locations throughout the resort and can be purchased once you are on property.
I hope this helps, Meredith! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation,
stop back by and let me know!
You’ve got a friend in me,
