Hi there, Teresa!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad you stopped by with your question about an upcoming Disney Cruise! There are so many wonderful things that await you onboard the Disney Dream including the newest live show,
“Beauty and the Beast” and let’s not forget a stop at Disney’s private island,
Castaway Cay! I am so excited for you and the fun that awaits you at sea!
Since many times there are minor changes between different staterooms, I checked with Guest Services to confirm the following information for you. Aboard the Disney Dream, stateroom 7514 does have both a Murphy bed that will pull down from the wall AND an upper berth bed that can be lowered to make a bunk bed above the sofa (which can also be turned into a bed)! It also does have one of the large oceanview portholes that allows for seating! I have yet to be in one of these rooms, but do have one booked for a cruise in the fall! I know my boys will love being able to sit in the oceanview porthole watching us sail off (and look for whales since they are certain they will see one in the Caribbean one of these days…)!
If you haven’t yet booked your vacation and are considering this stateroom or the same category room, I hope this information helps you make your decision! Or, if you have booked it, I hope this helps you prepare adequately for your upcoming
Disney Dream vacation! Please come back with any additional planning questions you have!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
