    2 questions: 1) Does anyone know why Magic Kingdom is closing at 6:00 on 9/15/11? My daughters birthday dinner at the castle is being canceled for that night. 2) Does anyone know the dates and showtimes for Fantasmic for the week of 9/11/11-9/16/11?

    Hi Karen!

    Sometimes the parks close down early for private events.  If your reservation was booked previously and is now being canceled, it appears that might be the reason.  I'm very sorry her special dinner was canceled.  I hope you were able to book another special reservation for her instead!

    The Disney's Hollywood Studios calendar currently shows that Fantasmic! will be performed nightly at 8:30 pm the week of your vacation.

    Keep in mind that schedules are subject to change, so check back as your vacation nears for updated information.  Once you arrive, make sure you pick up a Times Guide for the most up-to-date information.  Times Guides can be found at any of the Theme Parks, or upon check-in at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel in your welcome folder.
