Hi Moms! 2 questions for you: 1) Animal Kingdom Villas or Bay Lake Tower? 2) We are members of RCI vacations--booking through them--can we use Magical Express? Thank you!

    Hi Carrie,

What a tough decision you have!  Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas and Bay Lake Tower are incredibly different.  If anyone in your travel party is an animal lover, then the decision is much easier.  You'll want to stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas.  Where else can you wake up to find a giraffe on the savanna right outside your balcony?  If they give you the option to choose within Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, I suggest you opt for a room in Jambo House instead of Kidani Village.  That will situate you closer to most of the resort's dining options.

If you don't have any budding Jane Goodalls in your group, then I think I'd opt for a room in Bay Lake Tower instead.  Being just a few footsteps away from the Magic Kingdom definitely has its advantages.  You'll feel like you're living right in the middle of the magic for your whole stay.  This resort is much more centrally located than Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Any guests staying at a Disney-owned resort are more than welcome to enjoy Disney's Magical Express Transportation Service.  Once you've made your room reservation, call (407) WDW-MAGIC to arrange for your complimentary round-trip transportation from Orlando International Airport.

Wishing you a vacation sprinkled with extra pixie dust!
