Hi Jodi,
I absolutely love the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. It is a great show, with lots of singing along, clapping, and hilarity. During one of the last songs, the servers typically bring around washboards for the children to play. The whole show is so much fun! While your 6-year-old might be able to get up and dance a little bit, this experience is not really designed for children to be up and dancing the whole time. I do have another option for you. Have you considered
Mickey's Backyard BBQ? It is also located at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Mickey's Backyard BBQ is in more of an open-air pavilion. The atmosphere is picnic-like, with a band often playing, and opportunities for children to dance and see characters. If you are looking for a dining experience that encourages children to be up and moving around, Mickey's Backyard BBQ might be a better choice.
Both of these meals are all-you-care-to-eat. At Hoop-Dee-Doo-Musical Revue, the food is brought to your table. At Mickey's Backyard BBQ, it is a buffet. Both contain meat and non-meat options. For menus from each, I suggest that you go to the unofficial website wdwinfo.com. From there, find the option for "dining" and choose "menus." From this page you will be able to choose the restaurant or dinner show from which you want to view a menu. If you believe that the menu does not have enough options for your daughter, I suggest that you note this when making a reservation and ask to speak with a chef when you arrive. Although I cannot guarantee that special accommodations will be made, I have found that Disney does their best to make their guests happy.
I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Jodi. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
