hello! I have a question. I will be going to Disney for the first time in February 2025, and it will also be my first time going to the Magic Kingdom After Hours. My question is, will I have the opportunity to meet some characters during the activity?

Welcome to planDisney, Izasha! I'm excited to answer your question today about one of my favorite extras at the Walt Disney World Resort - Disney After Hours! These events combine the magical atmosphere of late nights in the theme parks with shorter lines, lighter crowds, and all the popcorn, ice cream novelties, and bottled beverages you want!

Izasha, with your ticket to After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park, you can enter the park three hours before the event officially begins, and during this time, you will be able to meet assorted characters that are regularly scheduled in the park. Once the park closes and the event kicks off, there may be limited character meet-and-greet opportunities, but these are subject to availability. My best advice would be to prioritize any characters you want to meet during the regular park hours and then check the My Disney Experience mobile app during the party hours to see which characters are available. Keep in mind you might also find some characters wandering around the park for unscheduled meet and greets; these unexpected magical moments are always my favorite!

Izasha, I attended this event last year and had the best time experiencing all of my favorite attractions with no wait times! Also, as a big fan of fireworks, one of my favorite things about After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park was getting to watch both Happily Ever After and Disney Enchantment in the same night! We were able to walk right up to Cinderella Castle for Enchantment right as it began and had an excellent spot for viewing!

I hope this helps, Izasha, and I hope you have the best time playing in my favorite park after dark! Soak up all the magic of the night and have a Mickey bar for me! If you have any other questions before your visit, come on back to planDisney and let us know! We're always here to help you plan!

    See you real soon,
