What is questionable tattoo? And if deemed questionable can it be covered in like a band aid to comply?

Hello Vanessa! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

When visiting a family-friendly location such as Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks, one of the most important elements for a magical day is people enjoying themselves in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

I have marveled at some of the elaborate tattoos and ink that many Guests have as I have walked through Magic Kingdom. As a Canadian, the weather is usually conducive to covering up as much as you can to stay warm. The weather at Walt Disney World Resort is fabulous enough to allow Guests to catch some of the hot Flordia sun and shed those winter layers during vacation.

When it comes to Park Rules and Regulations, Walt Disney World Resort guidelines state that any visible tattoos that could be considered inappropriate, such as those with objectionable language or designs are not permitted. I would take that to mean that tattoos with any profanity, derogatory or hateful words or images, and depictions of acts that would not be suitable for kids eyes should be covered up. As for me, I sport my Grumpy Tattoo that reveals my dedication to the "house of mouse" with great pride whenever I venture forth through the Magic Kingdom.

Covering up a tattoo is a gracious (and completely acceptable) thing to do if you think it might be objectionable to other Guests.

    Have a Magical Visit!
