Hello there, Lendy Jean. Welcome to planDisney and thank you for sharing this question with us. I'm so excited to hear that you are thinking about visiting the Disneyland Resort and am delighted to help.
When purchasing theme park tickets from the Disneyland site or via the
Disneyland app today, one-day tickets are valid through December 31, 2024. Multi-day tickets must be used within 13 days of first use or by January 12, 2025 (whichever comes first). You will need both a valid theme park ticket and a
theme park reservation to enter any of the theme parks during your visit. Theme park reservations can be made up to 120 days in advance of your visit and I strongly recommend securing your date as soon as you can.
Did you know there's some additional flexibility with your ticket that goes beyond the expiration date? If it happens that you aren't able to use your ticket by the expiration date,
you will still have some options. The amount paid for expired and wholly unused tickets (excluding special event tickets) can be applied toward the purchase of a new theme park ticket as long as the cost of the new ticket is greater than or equal to the purchase price of the original ticket.
Lendy Jean, I hope this helps as well as gives you some idea of the flexibility should you not be able to use your ticket by the expiration date. You will be visiting the resort at a great time of the year.
Halloween Time will have just ended and there's usually a little bit of a lull right after. The weather should also be cooler and enjoyable.
As you continue to plan the think of other questions, please come back to ask us. We are here and ready to help whenever you need it.
Thanks for stopping by,
Michelle
