Hello, my question is about WDW Galaxy's Edge Savi's Workshop. I understand reservations open 60 days out but at what time do reservations spots open? I have seen conflicting info that says you can start booking at 12am EST and/or 5:45am EST.

    Bright Suns Khristian,

Welcome to planDisney! I’m so excited to talk to you about one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort experiences, Savi’s Workshop. The gathers have been scouring the galaxy, searching for the perfect artifacts to forge into lightsabers, so this clandestine experience is very exclusive. To avoid detection by Kylo Ren and the First Order, Savi’s experience is limited in the number of builders who can visit at one time (which is why it is so hard to get a reservation).

As you mentioned, reservations for Savi’s open up 60 days in advance (for Guests of a Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotel, they can make them 60 days plus the length of their resort stay—up to 10 days). The First Order officers have a shift change around 5:45 AM EST, so this is when the reservations open up. You will not be able to make a reservation before that time. Just a special note, sometimes, the transmission from Batuu to your home datapad can be a little slow, so you may experience a minor delay in seeing reservations at 5:45 AM. My tip is if you are using the My Disney Experience mobile app, try using My Disney Experience online and vice versa. Technology definitely perplexes me, but sometimes, if one is experiencing glitches, the other is much more successful.

May the Force Be With You, Friend, and I hope you get your opportunity to build a lightsaber.

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.
