Question on Virtual Quenes....I am staying in a Deluxe Resort (Riviera) so I have access to extended hours at Epcot. My question is, if I get a Boarding Group for Guardians of the Galaxy during regular hours, can I get a second one during extended hours?

Hi there, Michael, and welcome to planDisney!

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is my favorite Disney Parks attraction in the world--and for good reason. You will laugh at the characters' witty commentary, be amazed by the ride's thrills and surprises, and talk about the experience all day long.

The good news is that you absolutely can experience the attraction once during regular park hours and then again for Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. Woohoo! And what if I told you that as a Guest with access to extra park hours that you can not only ride this attraction up to two times, but three?! Let's get into how you can take advantage of this perk.

From the comfort of your hotel room, or anywhere, log in to the My Disney Experience App a bit before 7 a.m. to secure a Virtual Queue boarding group for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. If you'd prefer to wait or if you don't successfully get a boarding group in the morning, you can try again while inside EPCOT at 1 p.m.

Before your day of exploring the theme park--and experiencing the wonderful EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays--you could also purchase an Individual Lightning Lane for the ride in the My Disney Experience App starting as early as 7 a.m.

Finally, you could score a possible third ride during the Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. The Virtual Queue opens at 6 p.m. So, you will have multiple opportunities to take off into the galaxy. This also gives you a lot of flexibility in case your plans change throughout the day.

AN EXTRA GEM: I recently stayed at Disney's Riviera Resort (you're going to love it; it's beautiful), and I want to give you a heads-up about using the Disney Skyliner. If you plan on taking this ride in the sky back to the Resort hotel, the Disney Skyliner usually runs up to one hour after the park closes.

Michael, I hope that you've found this answer helpful. I hope that you have the BEST time saving the galaxy alongside Peter Quill, Groot, and the rest of the Guardians. If you have any other questions about your upcoming visit, give us a holler here at planDisney. I'm all ears!

    Magic always,
