Welcome, Joanne. Thanks so much for bringing your question to
planDisney today. It sounds like you already know that Walt Disney World offers Disability Access Service (DAS) to Guests who cannot wait in a typical queue environment.
Once you arrive at any Walt Disney World theme park, please speak with
Guest Relations to determine if DAS would be a good fit. You will only need to do this once for DAS to be valid for your trip. It's a simple and quick process with very helpful Cast Members. The person who needs the DAS service must be present for the interview. During this registration, please let the Cast Member know which other Guests you're visiting the Theme Parks with, as a DAS Guest can include up to five other Guests on each return time selection. One important thing to remember is that these additional Guests are accompanying the DAS-registered Guest, so return times are only valid if used by or with a DAS-registered Guest.
You can certainly DAS register both Guests who need it, and then your whole party should be covered. That said, the same five Guests don't have to be included in each return time selection - you can select different Guests for different attractions.
Joanne, I hope this information helps you all to have an enchanting time at the
Most Magical Place on Earth. I'd love to help if you need anything else before your adventure, Louise.
