I have a question about transferring tickets that are part of a 3 day ticket purchase. We visited Disneyland last week and were unable to use the third day of two of our party members tickets due to an injury that had us leave Anaheim early.

    Hello, Heather,

I’m sorry to hear about the unfortunate circumstances. I hope everyone is feeling well now.

For most Disneyland Resort theme park tickets, it is OK to book new theme park reservations for the remaining days on the tickets. You may do so from the "My Theme Park Reservations" page on the Disneyland Resort website. New reservations may be booked as long as the tickets have not expired, there is still theme park reservation availability, and the tickets are still valid for the day you wish to visit. Note that once a multi-day theme park ticket is activated, only the original Guest may continue to use that ticket for the remaining days.

If you are a resident within Southern California ZIP codes 90000-93599 or Northern Baja California postal codes 21000-22999 and are using Southern California resident weekday tickets, you may book up to three available weekdays until May 25, 2023. If you are using non-promotional multi-day tickets, the expiration date will be the date indicated in the ticket purchase confirmation email or 13 days after the first day of use, whichever comes first. Certain promotional tickets for members of the US Military are valid until all days are used up or until December 15, 2023, except specified blockout dates.

Tony’s Tip: If you wish to maximize the magic of a Disneyland Resort theme park ticket, you might consider upgrading the ticket to an available Magic Key pass. For new Magic Key pass purchases, only certain levels may be available at a given time. A ticket may only be upgraded while it is still valid. Any upgrade may only be done up until midnight of the last day using the ticket or until it expires. The expiration date of a Magic Key pass that was upgraded from a regular ticket will expire one year from the first day of use of the original ticket. Ticket upgrades are done using the “Tickets and Passes” screen of the Disneyland mobile app. I am currently a Disneyland Resort Magic Key holder. I’m glad I made that investment in continued vacation experiences to last for months.

With these options available to use your remaining theme park ticket value, I hope you find a way to extend the magic of your experience at the Disneyland Resort. If you have any more questions for us here at planDisney, I hope you’ll come to visit again.

    See ya real soon, Heather!
