I have a question about the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party. The fireworks are much later than they were the last time we were in Disney, they are at 10 in May when out trip is scheduled. Does your spot stay reserved through the end of the show?

    Hi Sandra!

I absolutely LOVE the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party. It's become one of my definite "must do's" on Walt Disney World vacations with my family. It's just such an enjoyable way to have a great view of the Wishes display along with some comfort, great photo opportunities and deliciously yummy treats!

When making a reservation for the TTFDP, you'll find that your reservation time will be at an interval some time before the beginning of Wishes scheduled start time. Usually up to about an hour prior to the show. This is your 'requested' arrival time. Reservations are staggered somewhat such that not all Guests will arrive at once. A hostess will seat you at your reserved table (a sign with your family's name will be reserving your spot) and then you will be able to enjoy the desserts, treats & hot and cold beverages as you wish leading up to the show.

The table reserved for your party remains "yours" throughout The Magic, The Memories and You as well as the wishes display. You are free to get up from your table at any time to visit the dessert 'buffet' area or to secure a viewing location by the railing along the front edge of Tomorrowland Terrace overlooking the water. On my past few visits, there has even been a Disney's PhotoPass Photographer stationed at the party to take family photos on the terrace with the beautifully lit Cinderella Castle in the background. Many families, especially those with avid photographers amongst them, will hang out along the balcony throughout the show; whilst many others will choose to remain seated.

Shortly after the fireworks finish, Cast Members will begin dismantling the desserts and beverages, so it's a good idea to fill a plate & mug prior to the start of the show.

Enjoy the Fireworks Dessert Party - and have a Magical time at Walt Disney World Sandra!
