Another question! So thankful for this panel- you have helped me so much in our planning!! So- BEST place to watch the fireworks and other shows??!! What about the parades!! We are going 8/19-28. Any indoor places to view? It's going to be HOT!! TIA :)

    Hi Christy!

Welcome back!  It's always so nice to see you!

You've got some great questions, and hopefully I can help you out...but I'll tell you...these are our SPECIAL viewing spots...so make sure this stays between you and me, ok?

At Magic Kingdom, we always watch parades in Frontierland.  The crowds are usually smaller, and you won't typically need to find a spot to watch until closer to parade time, whereas on Main Street, U.S.A. you'll need to find a spot an hour or more ahead of time.  For Fireworks?  We tend to hang out near the bridge to Tomorrowland, and you'll find that you'll need to get there a bit earlier.  You'll also see Tinker Bell fly right overhead at this location right before the show!  You can't be that!  There are a few restaurants (California Grill, Narcoossee's, 'Ohana  to name a few) in the Magic Kingdom resort area that you'll be able to get a view of the show, and the music is piped in, but you'll need a dining reservation for those spots.  You can also get a view from The Plaza Restaurant, The Crystal Palace, and Casey's Corner (at an outside table, obviously).

At Epcot, we like to view from the area in World Showcase where you pass from Future World to World Showcase, right between the gift shops.  It can be a pretty popular place so you'll need to get there at least 45 minutes prior to the show to get a good spot.  For us, nothing is better than seeing IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth front and  center!

It's been my absolute pleasure helping you, Christy!  Please do come back and visit us!

    Have a magical vacation!
