Another question for you :) We are staying local, but not on Disney. Is it possible to park at one park and just ride buses to the others?

You certainly could do that, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it.  Here's why: at the end of your day you'd have to take a bus back to the park you started in, not to mention that transportation in between parks would take quite some time out of your day.  I don't know about you but at the end of a park touring day the last thing I want to do is walk even more!  I know I would much rather just exit the park and head to the car.  If the parking fee is what you are concerned about, rest assured that guests not staying in Disney owned resorts are only required to pay the parking fee once per day, no matter how many theme parks you visit.  In other words, if you start your day at Epcot and then hop to Magic Kingdom later, you'd just show your parking receipt to the Cast Member at the second park and you would not be required to pay again.  Hope that helps!
