Welcome to planDisney, Catherine! I'm so pleased to be able to answer one of your questions today.
Making
Disney Park Pass reservations is an essential part of planning your trip to Walt Disney World Resort since reservations are required to enter a park through January 8, 2024. Theme Park reservations can be made in
My Disney Experience immediately when purchase your tickets, and I recommend doing that as soon as possible so you have at least some tentative plans in place if any of the four Theme Parks become unavailable in the time between now and your trip this fall. Your reservations can be modified at any time, so you can change your plans if you want or need to! It's just always a good idea to make at least one reservation for each Theme Park as soon as possible so you can rest easy knowing that you have some plans in place.
Once your reservations are made, there is no set time that you have to enter the Theme Park on the day of your reservation. Your reservation is valid from the time the Theme Park opens until it closes and you can choose to enter at any time. You also have the freedom to leave and come back at your leisure! Your reservation gives you the freedom and flexibility to come and go as you please, so you can head back to your
Resort Hotel for a mid-day rest and a swim in the pool before heading back for more fun in the evenings.
I hope this answers your question, Catherine, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
