My question is say we spend the day at MK but that night we are having dinner at Chef mickeys(a hotel resturant thats not at the hotel we are staying at) can we use the bus to get to the resturant from the MK then take the bus back to our hotel.

    Kari,

As WDW resort guests, feel free to use any modes of transportation within the Walt Disney World resort. You can utilize the boats, monorails and buses to get around the resort. When traveling between hotels, you'll need to transfer at a hub such as Downtown Disney or one of the theme parks.

In your example, you would do the following:

After spending the day at the Magic Kingdom, walk over to the Contemporary Resort. Yes, you could also take the monorail. After dinner, walk back to the Magic Kingdom and take a bus back to your resort.

    Enjoy a wonderful vacation!
