Hello! Question about rider swap, do all guests in the group need a fastpass? Or just those in "group 1"? If all need to have a fastpass for the attraction, what is the benefit of rider swap? Thanks!

    Hi, Ashlee!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Congratulations on doing your research to make the most of your time at the Theme Parks. I already like you!

The FastPass+ service grants your whole group a select time window to enjoy the attraction, so you can already alternate and take turns to care for little ones.

Because of that, I always tell my friends to book FastPass+ for the whole family in advance, prioritizing their top attractions. It's super strategic, even if you already intend to use the Rider Switch during your trip.

The best use of the Rider Switch service, in my opinion, is for the attractions for which you're not able to make FastPass+ selections. The benefit, in this case, is that you will be able to use the Rider Switch to discover even more fun experiences and go through the regular queues once instead of twice.

I hope that you and your family can have the most magical days at the Walt Disney World Resort, Ashlee! If more questions come up before January, please, let us know. We're here to help!

May the magic be with you,
