I have a question about reservations. My mom and I are going to wdw in the fall (5 days) and have a split stay arranged. My dad may come with us but will be there for only 2 days. Is there a way to add him to our reservations without paying for the week?

    Hi Kelly,

Thank you for visiting us today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Glad to know your dad is planning to join you. I am sure you will have the most magical vacation ever.

You can definitely add your dad to your reservations. Since you mention you are doing a split stay, you would only need to add him to the reservation of when he would be present. If these are room-only reservations, you may be charged a fee for having more than three adults in the same room. The only problem is if you have a Magic Your Way Vacation Package with Theme Park Tickets or a Disney Dining Plan. You would have to pay for the difference of the entire reservation, including the same number of Theme Park Tickets. I strongly suggest you contact your travel agent, or speak with a Vacation Planning Specialist at (407) 939-1936 to verify how much extra it may cost you.

One last tip: remember to make or adjust any dining reservations, which can be made up to 180 day ahead of your Check-In. Just visit the Walt Disney World restaurants and reservations page. Happy planning!
