Hello, hello there, Renee! Welcome to
planDisney, and thank you so much for stopping by with your question. I'm so happy to see you here!
Day Guests who do not have tickets for
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will be asked to leave
Magic Kingdom Park at 6 p.m., with no exceptions. Cast Members will start walking around the park and checking for party wristbands at that time, so if you don't have one, someone will escort you to the exit. Unfortunately, this means that you won't be able to stay or shop around. By the time the party starts at 7 p.m., the park will have been completely cleared out of day Guests.
Renee, if you would like to stay after 6 p.m., you will have to purchase party tickets. But if I may, I'd actually like to give you a quick tip! I suggest that you don't purchase a Theme Park ticket for one of the days you plan on visiting Magic Kingdom Park. Instead, get tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and spend the entire morning resting at your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel or walking around Disney Springs. Then, at 3:30 p.m. or so, head straight to Magic Kingdom for an evening of fun and Holiday cheer! This way, you'll have eight hours of park time, the crowds will be much more manageable, and you'll be immersed in the spirit of the season. It's a win-win situation in my opinion!
I know that this wasn't the news you were expecting to hear, but I do hope that my answer has helped clarify things for you. If you have any other questions for us, please don't hesitate to come back here so we can help you again. Have a magical day, Renee!
Warm hugs,
Ana Paula
