Hi! So my question is related to the arrival to Epcot… tricky question since I want to enter by International Gateway at 8:30 am, but my hotel is an All Star hotel. Is there any connection in transportation at this early morning time to achieve this?

Hey there, Patricia! Welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for bringing us your question. Walt Disney World is big (nearly 43 square miles), so it’s not uncommon for even the most seasoned travelers to need directions from time to time. Let’s take a look at the map and get you headed in the right direction!

If you’d like to enter EPCOT at the International Gateway, I’d suggest taking a bus from your All-Star Resort hotel to Hollywood Studios. From there, you can either take a water taxi, walk, or take the Disney Skyliner to the west side of EPCOT, where the International Gateway entrance is located. Transportation availability and schedules are subject to change, but the Skyliner will likely be the busiest option at that time of the morning. Walking or the water taxi will probably be your best option.

If you’re walking towards the Hollywood Studios entrance from the bus stop, you’ll find the walking path to your right, just before the Skyliner Station. The water taxi dock is just past the Skyliner Station, and also to your right. There are signs directing guests towards both options, but don’t hesitate to ask a friendly Cast Member if you need assistance.

Whichever route you go, make sure you download the My Disney Experience app to your mobile device. It can provide step-by-step directions and estimated travel times to most locations around Walt Disney World. Travel times will vary based on which All-Star hotel you’re starting at, as well as the date and time you’re venturing to EPCOT.

I hope this information helps with your vacation planning, Patricia. Pop right back if you have more questions. Your planDisney pals are here to help!

    Magical travels!
