Question regarding quality vs quanity. I've been to WDW before but this is the first time staying at a resort. Would it be better to book 2 rooms at All star movie or 1 suite at art of animation. Traveling with 4 adults, 2 kids, 2 infants?

    Hi Lesa!

Traveling with a large group and deciding on your resort takes some extra time to work through all the options. This is especially true when you have young children and infants.

The Art of Animation Resort has lovely family suites that offer you one separate bedroom as well as two full bathrooms. However, beyond the queen bed in the bedroom your sleeping options will not be as comfortable in the living area.

My suggestion for your group would be to book two rooms at the All Star Movie Resort. Be sure and add a request for CONNECTING rooms which means they will have a doorway inside each room that can be opened up to each other. This way you will have the chance to put children or infants down for a nap and still have a large room for the adults to visit and watch TV etc. I think with 4 adults and infants this is the better way to go. You will still have the two full bathrooms, one in each room, so you don’t lose out on that amenity.

The All Star resorts are a great way to go when budget requires that choice. The resort amenities will be the same offering food courts and pools. The Art of Animation pool is newer with some fun things like hearing Dory under water but to be honest most guests don’t ever really realize that as all they want to do is to cool off for a bit. The family suites are very nice with the small kitchenette but with only one separate bedroom with four adults this is not my choice.
