My question is regarding a past trip. I still have 2 tickets I purchased but assigned to 2 friends who ended up not being able to go. I need to see where and to whom each ticket was assigned so I can reassign 1 to myself. Future plans I can see.

    Hello Theresa,

It's great to see you back with us here at PlanDisney! The planDisney panelists always welcome an opportunity to share suggestions based on our own Disney destination vacations as a way to help you make your next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort more magical.

After receiving your follow-up question about reassigning tickets, I reached out and chatted with a friendly Cast Member, who shared that if a Guest to whom you assigned a ticket has their own My Disney Experience account, that Guest would need to reassign that ticket back to your account in order for you to get the ticket back from them.

Hopefully this additional information is helpful, Theresa. My best suggestion for you if you have additional questions about your theme park tickets and their assignment is to chat directly with a Cast Member using the online chat service, or using the "Chat with Us" feature in the My Disney Experience mobile app. A Cast Member can look into the details of your tickets with you.

Be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog as a fun way to stay in the know about all the exciting experiences coming to the Walt Disney World Resort. It can be helpful as you plan your next visit.

Here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today, Theresa!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
