Hey Michelle-
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Boo to You!
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a spooktacular adventure of trick-or-treating, a broadway style show, fireworks and Disney characters. We love this party. My favorite is Happy HalloWishes fireworks spectacular. It’s sorcery in the sky!
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is special ticket event. Party admittance typically begins at 4:00 p.m., three hours before the party starts and you do not need a standard theme park ticket to enter, just the special party ticket. If you would like to enter Magic Kingdom Park or any other theme park that day before 4:00 p.m. then you will need a standard theme park ticket in addition to the party ticket. There is no need for a park hopper to gain entrance into any of the other three Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
Because you mentioned “both” parks I am wondering if you are asking about Disneyland Resort. At Disneyland Park,
Mickey's Halloween Party, has the same admittance time. If you would like to go to Disney’s California Adventure Park then you will need a separate ticket and not a park hopper.
Disney Dad Tip: Bring a backpack for candy. During the night you will be able to treat-or-treat along the candy trails. You will be provided with a small bag and Cast Members will put the candy in the small bag. You may then transfer the candy into the backpack. We gathered 10 pounds of candy and only visited half the candy trails!
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Michelle, enjoy making many Magical Memories!
