Hey, Diana!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! This exact situation has happened to me many times and I would get nervous that they would prohibit me from dining at the Table Service restaurant when I showed up with a child instead of an adult. We have NEVER been turned away or been charged a fee for the wrong age person on a reservation.
When we arrive at the restaurant they always verify the reservation information. If anything is incorrect they make the appropriate change at the check-in podium. Kids (Guests between the ages of 3 and 9 years old) usually get an activity menu and crayons.
This sounds like a silly glitch and is nothing to worry about. The main issue is that you have the correct number of eligible dining Guests on the
advance dining reservation. Remember, children are considered adults if they are age 9 at the beginning of your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation. If you want to be sure to have the correct information loaded in My Disney Experience then you may contact a Cast Member in Dining at 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463).
Disney Dad Tip: During your wonderful late fall trip you may want to attend
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! The hot chocolate and cookies are delicious and it snows on Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom Park. Watch the toy soldier and gingerbread men dance the parade route during Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and marvel at the explosive beauty of the holidays during Holiday Wishes Fireworks. The party takes place on select nights from November 7- December 22, 2016.
Diana, enjoy making many Magical Memories!
