Hi Luke and welcome to planDisney!
I remember taking a senior trip to Walt Disney World way (way way) back in the day. It was so much fun to visit with friends and celebrate our last year in high school. I have so many great memories from that trip and I'm excited for you and your friends to experience the same!
To book a
Disney Resort hotel, at least one guest must be 18 years or older, so as long as the lead person booking the room is 18, others can be 17. You must also have a valid credit card to book the reservation.
Choosing a Disney Resort hotel is such a tough decision! There are so many wonderful options available. If you're looking to stay in the
Value Resort category, I highly recommend
Disney's Pop Century Resort. The remodeled rooms have a very comfortable murphy bed as the second bed, so no one will get stuck on a sofa bed. There is direct access to the
Disney Skyliner, which will take you to
Disney's Hollywood Studios or
EPCOT. Disney bus transportation will take you to
Magic Kingdom Park,
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park or to
Disney Springs.
In the
moderate category, my favorite Resort hotel is
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. The cabins are so much fun and offer a unique experience when on vacation at Walt Disney World. There is a queen bed and bunk beds in the bedroom plus a sleeper sofa in the living room, so the three of you would have your own beds. The extra space is a bonus! The campground offers tons of fun activities including bike and
kayak rentals,
archery classes,
Segway tours and more! It's also just a boat ride away from Magic Kingdom when you're ready to have fun in the park.
For the deluxe
Disney Resort hotels, I love
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. It's another unique hotel because of the beautiful African savannas right in the back. In a savanna view room, you can step out onto your balcony and watch the various animals up close.
Please stop back by if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a magical day!
