Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lori! Some restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort can book up quickly, and the
Plaza Restaurant is one of them! The online reservations system is the best place to snag a dinner table, but there are other ways you can keep an eye out.
I did check the week you mentioned for reservations, and they are booked as of this moment! When I’m looking for a reservation like this, I’ll typically start checking the system 24-48 hours before my preferred dining time. This is the key time when folks drop reservations due to changes in plans, so I’m there to snap them up. You need to stay flexible with times, and search often. The other thing I’ll do is to approach the Cast Member at the door during my preferred day of dining. There may be cancellations or walk ups available, and my motto is, “You don’t know unless you ask!” The worst thing they can say is there is no availability, which is when my family and I feast on mini corn dogs in the glow of a professional piano player, and make a great time of it.
I hope you have more luck making reservations for your trip, or perhaps your next family vacation, when
dining reservations at 180 days prior to your check-in date is the time to sit down at your computer. Please let me know if I can help you plan your magical trip! ~ Lindsey P.
