Hi, I have a question about planning an upcoming trip to Disneyland from Europe. Is the Paint the Night parade expected to run during Halloween as part of the 70th Celebration? We wouldn't want to miss it! Thanks in advance.

Hi there, Kevin! Sending you the warmest planDisney greetings all the way from sunny California! Oh boy, my ears perked right up when I heard you're planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort during the Halloween season! Get ready for a fang-tastic transformation as the Happiest Place on Earth embraces its spooky side—every nook and cranny will be decked out in ghoulishly delightful décor!

This year is shaping up to be extra spellbinding because, as you mentioned, the entire resort will be shimmering with magic for the spectacular Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration! And, you're right, the news of the dazzling Paint the Night Parade making its electrifying return has us all buzzing with excitement! Those lights are so incredibly bright, I wouldn’t be surprised if you could see them all the way from across the pond! (Okay, maybe that's a bit of a stretch, but they do seem to sparkle more brightly than a million fireflies lighting up the bayou on a summer night!).

Wouldn't it be spooktacular if those dazzling Paint the Night Parade floats illuminated the Halloween festivities? Like you, Kevin, I'm eagerly hoping this vibrant parade will be part of the frightfully fun season! However, the official lineup of fall entertainment is still shrouded in a bit of mystery. The fantastic news is that Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort casts its enchanting spell early, with the magic beginning in August of this year! (Haunted Mansion Holiday, anyone?!). As soon as Disney shares its complete Halloween plans, including whether the Paint the Night Parade will be part of the ghostly gatherings, you'll find all the enchanting details on the Disneyland Resort website and the Disney Parks Blog.

Speaking of the blog, they just released some additional details on what to expect during the 70th Celebration. I can’t wait for the brand new show, World of Color Happiness!, coming to Disney California Adventure Park. This vibrant nighttime spectacular will showcase favorite Disney and Pixar stories through dazzling water fountains, vibrant projections, and stunning lighting effects. This show is sure to be the perfect aquatic complement to the Paint the Night Parade and will be an excellent way to celebrate 70 years of magic.

Kevin, I hope that your Halloween adventure at the Disneyland Resort is filled with treats around every corner and plenty of unforgettable moments. I’m wishing on a star for you that you’ll get to experience the Paint the Night Parade while you're here! If you have any other questions as you plan your magical getaway, don't hesitate to ask. We're always here to help make your Disney dreams come true!

Wishing you a truly enchanting day!
