Hey there, Apryl! Welcome back to planDisney!
I'm so glad to see you back here in our cozy little corner of the internet! I hope my fellow panelists and I have helped answer all your vacation planning questions thus far. I'd be honored to help guide you on your upcoming Thanksgiving vacation today!
Apryl, you'll be delighted to know that your
theme park reservation guarantees you entry into that specific park at any time of day. So, if you have a reservation at
Magic Kingdom Park, but do not enter until 4:00 p.m., much past park-hopping time, you'll have no trouble entering the park, regardless of capacity. In addition, if you choose to enter the park early in the day and would like to return later in the evening, sneaking in a mid-day nap break or some time by your
Disney Resort Hotel pool, you are still guaranteed entry once you return. Ka-Chow!
I would like to share that it is very rare that Guests are turned away due to capacity issues these days, though it is still possible. The only time you'd be denied entry into a park is if you are hopping to a different park after 2:00 p.m. and that park had already reached its capacity limit. You will not be denied entry into a park for which you have a reservation, so if this situation were to arise, you'd be able to return to your starting park with no issue.
Pro tip: If you choose to park hop over to
EPCOT right at that 2:00 p.m. time slot during your vacation, utilize the
Disney Skyliner wherever possible. The Disney Skyliner drops you off at the International Gateway Entrance to EPCOT, around the back of the World Showcase near the United Kingdom Pavilion. Many Guests park hop as soon as they're able, so you could imagine how busy it may be entering the parks at 2:00 p.m. This entrance is much quieter and will help you avoid the rush!
Have a magical day,
Ashley
