I have a question about how the park hopper works and also a question on flash pass

    Hi Keili,

Let's dive into Walt Disney World Resort logistics. Buckle up because we’re about to board the Wildest Ride in the Wilderness.

First, let's unravel that Park Hopper option. When you opt for a Theme Park Ticket with Park Hopper, you're granting yourself the power to bounce between the four main theme parks of Walt Disney World Resort - Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park - on the same day, as much as your heart desires. This means you can start your day with Mickey and friends in Magic Kingdom Park and end it chilling with the Yeti in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

Park Hopping is like being a fairy godparent with a magic wand, whisking you effortlessly from one Theme Park to another. The best way to hop? Disney's complimentary transportation system! From monorails to Disney Skyliner Transportation to buses and boats, The Walt Disney World Resort offers a myriad of options to swiftly transport you between parks, ensuring your journey is as magical as possible.

Now, let's talk about the Genie + Service, a modern-day genie granting our wish for minimizing wait times and maximizing fun! This add-on can be likened to the beloved FastPass system of yore. To acquire this magical service, simply purchase it as part of your Disney experience via the My Disney Experience app.

Once you've summoned the Genie + Service, you're granted access to the Lightning Lane lines, which are essentially the express lanes of the Disney attractions. This means you'll spend less time waiting in line and more time enjoying the magic! On average, Guests can enter 2 to 3 attractions per day using Lightning Lane entrances if the first selection is made early in your day. You’ll also receive digital downloads of select Disney PhotoPass attraction images taken in the park on the day of your purchase.

I highly recommend that you watch this video before beginning your trip, so you’ll learn more about Genie+ service. After purchase, you can make your first Disney Genie+ service selection for Lightning Lane Entry at 7:00 AM on the day of your visit. Check out this “how-to” page here for all the specifics.

For popular attractions like TRON Lightcycle / Run and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, you can attempt to secure a Virtual Queue return time, ensuring you can experience these coveted adventures without the hassle of long waits. Virtual Queue drop times are 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM each day.

With the power of Park Hopper and the Genie + Service combined, you'll embark on a journey through Disney World that's as magical as it is efficient, leaving you with memories to cherish and smiles to share!
