Another question Moms Panel, When resort hopping, is the "lobby area" of the resorts the only place to visit? Or can you walk the grounds of the resort? Where is the best place to see the unique themes? In addition, which resort is a must see?

    Hi Angela!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Resort hopping is a relaxing way to enjoy some time outside of the parks, and experience the different Resort hotels. They all have wonderful unique theming, and you will appreciate this as soon as you arrive at the entrance to each hotel. Every lobby will give you the best feel for the atmosphere of the hotel, but you are welcome to explore a little further - take a walk around the grounds, enjoy a drink in a cosy spot, or by the lakeside if there is one. I also love to visit the Gift Shops where unique resort-themed souvenirs can be found. You can also make a dining reservation at some of the Resort hotel restaurants. If you would like to enjoy the Resort hotels in the Magic Kingdom Resort area, you can easily hop between some of the hotels by taking the monorail, or a very pleasant short cruise. Disney's Wilderness Lodge is my 'must see' paradise, where you will see the most fabulous lobby, glorious views over Bay Lake, and you could take a relaxing stroll along the trail path to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Have fun discovering which Walt Disney World Resort hotel will be your favourite!

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World.
