I have a question about the new magic bands. We have no-expiration park tickets ( they are not park hoppers). Can these be used with the magic bands? They are 8-day tickets and we will not use all of the days on our next trip (Feb 2014).Staying on property

    Hi there, Jackie!

We have matching names...even spelled the same, very fun! :)

The new MagicBands are currently being tested by randomly selected Guests staying at the Walt Disney Resort. If you have a MagicBand from a previous stay where you were "testers", you should be able to log into your My Disney Experience account and add the tickets to your MagicBands online. If you do connect your Park tickets, be sure to bring those tickets with you on your vacation as a back-up. You'll actually want to hang on to those tickets until you've used all of the days on them. Anytime systems are being tested, it's always best to have the hard copy as a back-up.

If you don't have MagicBands yet, just be sure to set up your My Disney Experience profile online and connect your Resort hotel reservation so that all of the information is in your account should you get selected to be a tester!

I sure hope this helps, Jackie! Thanks so much for stopping by the Moms Panel and please let us know if we can help with any other planning questions you have!

Wishing you a Pixie Dusted vacation!
