i have a question about mousekeeping. I will be solo. What is a good amount i should leave daily? I've read most people leave a dollar a person but i don't know if that's enough. i leave May 1st. Please help!

    Hi Stacie,

Enjoy your solo trip! I have traveled to Disney World alone, a number of times and love the chance to operate on my schedule and spend as much time enjoying the exhibits and sights as I would like. Solo trips are also a great time to enjoy a backstage tour.

Mousekeeping tips are not required and should be based on what you feel is appropriate and affordable for you. Personally I average $1 to $2 per person per night that we stay. I often leave a slightly larger tip on the morning we leave if I feel the service was exceptional. I have talked to a number of my fellow Moms and Disney friends a few times about this, and can tell you that this seems to be the going rate amongst most of us. Be sure that any tips you do leave, you place in an envelope and address it Mousekeeper, so the Cast Member knows the money is meant as a tip.

    Hope this helps!
