Another question! MNSSHP--is it mainly for kids, or are there activities for adults to do also? We plan to go to DW with 7 adults/2 kids. Should DH and I take the kids that night while the others do another park, or take everyone along?

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party truly is fun for all ages; it's one of the highlights of our trip every year.  Here's why:

    - Most of the attractions are open and have minimal wait times.  Even if the adults in your party are bored by some of the "extras" that go on at the party, they will appreciate the ability to experience rides and shows without long waits.

    - The Boo to You parade is FABULOUS!  It ranks right up there with SpectroMagic in my book.  I won't ruin any surprises here, but there are special features in this parade that you won't see any other time of the year.  Don't miss it!

    - There are multiple Trick-or-Treating stations set up throughout the park that even adults are welcome to visit.  Everybody likes candy right?

    - Last year, one of my mom's panel friends and I enjoyed having our faces painted (free for all guests in recent years) right alongside our children.

In past years I've seen many groups of adults at the party, without any children.  I think they will enjoy the opportunity to feel like a kid on Halloween again.  My vote would be to go for it!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
