Robert from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

My question is this, we have the magic key passes and we made reservations. However I had to get new smartphone and for some reason the app shows our passes but no longer shows the reservation. Will we have trouble getting in when I show my phone there?

Hey there, Robert! Welcome back to planDisney. As a fellow Magic Key Holder, I am excited to hear you love going to the parks as much as I do!

There are a couple of things I would recommend:

    1. First, let’s confirm your reservations are still intact. Log in to your Disneyland account (easier to view from a computer) and go to My Disneyland. Select “Ticket and Reservation Details” and click on “View My Park Reservations.” Here you can see your current theme park reservations.

    2. Assuming your reservations are still there, let’s see if we can make the reservations magically appear in your Disneyland mobile app again. Log out of the app and log back in. Go to the Future Plans section of the app to see if your reservations appear there. If you still don’t see them, you could contact the Guest Services team specializing in Magic Key Passes, but if you confirmed that your reservations exist, Hakuna Matata, you’ll be good to enter the parks by showing your Magic Key barcodes to scan in at the main entrance. Tip - I take screen shots of our Magic Key Passes and store them in my Favorites in my phone, just in case my WI-FI is being temperamental at the entrance.

Now that you have a new phone, you probably have a longer battery life, but just in case, pack a mobile charger! I like the conveniences of the Disneyland mobile app, such as managing my Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane selections, checking attraction wait times, using Mobile Order to schedule my Disney snacks, and using Disney PhotoPass (digital downloads included with Genie+, a huge perk in my opinion.)

Have a super trip, Robert, to infinity and beyond!
