MagicBand is a convenient way to tap into the theme parks;
charge purchases to your Disney Resorts Collection hotel; unlock your resort room door;
link Disney PhotoPass photos to your account; access virtual queue and
Lightning Lane entrances; and interact with
special experiences. I think it adds an element of additional fun to your Disney day.
However, having one is not required.
I love my MagicBand collection and choose which one I will wear each day based on my outfit and my itinerary. My daughter doesn't like things on her wrist, so she uses the
My Disney Experience Mobile App on her phone instead.
It really is a matter of choice, and each member of the family can pick what is best for them.
