    Also another question, when you have a magic band + if 5 people have genie plus do each have to get a wristband??

    Hey there, Esmeralda! Thank you so much for dropping by planDisney with a really great question! 

    I know we are all so excited that MagicBand technology will finally be at Disneyland Resort soon! If you have not heard yet, today it was announced that MagicBand+ will be debuting at Disneyland Resort on October 26, 2022. That's soon! Unfortunately, we don't have all of the details yet about how the MagicBand+ will work with Disney accounts, Guests, and added services like Disney Genie+. I am hopeful that we will be getting a lot more information soon since the launch date is just weeks away. From what we can see so far, a MagicBand+ can only be linked to one account and one ticket or pass. It doesn't seem like MagicBand+ devices will be required for each person, but each person would need one if they want to have it connected to their ticket and Disney Genie+ service.

    Be sure to check out the Disney Parks Blog article that unveiled today's details about the debut of the MagicBand+ and keep your eye out on the blog to hear what other MagicBand+ announcements they will share. This is also a great place to see any other exciting announcements about things to come to the parks and beyond. For example, you might want to have a look at the blog a few weeks before your visit so you can see what might be happening in case Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival returns during that time.
